Shared foundation

A shared technology platform designed around controllable electrical demand.

The portfolio is based on a common engineering principle: selected electrical loads can be measured, governed, disconnected and reconnected according to defined operating rules rather than being left entirely unmanaged.

The commercial application changes by market, but the underlying capability remains connected: intelligent control of flexible demand.

Product portfolio

Three focused products built from the same core capability.

Grid management

01

FlexGrid

Grid-responsive load management designed to coordinate controllable demand and support a more resilient electricity system.

FlexGrid is the grid-facing expression of the underlying switching technology. It is intended to enable selected loads to respond in a controlled manner to system requirements, reducing unmanaged demand and improving the value of distributed load control.

Primary market
Utilities, municipalities and electricity networks

Solar integration

02

SunSinc

Solar-load synchronisation intended to make better use of available generation by coordinating controllable household demand.

SunSinc is designed to align flexible electrical loads with periods of available solar generation. The objective is to increase useful self-consumption and reduce avoidable reliance on grid electricity without requiring the user to manage every switching decision manually.

Primary market
Solar households, installers and distributed-energy programmes

Asset protection and risk management

03

ClaimShield

Asset-protection and risk-reduction technology applying intelligent switching to insurance and claims-prevention use cases.

ClaimShield applies the shared intelligent-switching foundation to loss prevention and asset protection. It is intended to help manage exposure associated with electrical restoration and unstable supply conditions while supporting insurer, household and property-management applications.

Households, insurers, property portfolios and risk programmes

Operating logic

From grid signal to controlled electrical response.

01

Detect

A signal, condition, schedule or operating rule identifies when a controllable load should change state.

02

Decide

The control logic evaluates the relevant condition and applies the configured operating parameters.

03

Switch

The selected load is disconnected or reconnected in a controlled sequence rather than through unmanaged intervention.

04

Optimise

The resulting demand profile can better support grid, household, insurance or solar-energy objectives.

Development position

Functional prototypes established. Commercial production is the next objective.

Approximately R2.5 million has been invested in developing the current technology and functional prototypes. The next phase is focused on funding, production engineering, the first commercial manufacturing run and structured market deployment.
