FlexGrid is the grid-facing expression of the underlying switching technology. It is intended to enable selected loads to respond in a controlled manner to system requirements, reducing unmanaged demand and improving the value of distributed load control.

Solar integration

SunSinc

Solar-load synchronisation intended to make better use of available generation by coordinating controllable household demand.

SunSinc is designed to align flexible electrical loads with periods of available solar generation. The objective is to increase useful self-consumption and reduce avoidable reliance on grid electricity without requiring the user to manage every switching decision manually.

Asset protection and risk management

ClaimShield

Asset-protection and risk-reduction technology applying intelligent switching to insurance and claims-prevention use cases.

ClaimShield applies the shared intelligent-switching foundation to loss prevention and asset protection. It is intended to help manage exposure associated with electrical restoration and unstable supply conditions while supporting insurer, household and property-management applications.

Development position

Functional prototypes established. Commercial production is the next objective.

Approximately R2.5 million has been invested in developing the current technology and functional prototypes. The next phase is focused on funding, production engineering, the first commercial manufacturing run and structured market deployment.
