Every engineer has a beginning. Mine began with curiosity.

This page traces a continuing journey of observation, practical problem-solving, invention and disciplined engineering. It is not a résumé. It is the story of how questions became prototypes, how experience became knowledge and how one project created the foundation for the next.

Learning through doing

Engineering cannot be mastered through theory alone. Real understanding comes from building, testing, making mistakes and finding better ways. Every prototype becomes a classroom, every unexpected result becomes evidence and every improvement becomes a foundation for future work.

From practical experience to invention

  • Aviation: systems, responsibility, procedural discipline and respect for technical risk.
  • Transport: direct exposure to operating cost, reliability, tyre life and heavy-vehicle safety.
  • Earlier inventions: FuelMaster, Futrol and PAL Aggressor formed part of a growing record of practical problem-solving.
  • N-Tyre: a response to recurring tyre, casing, brake and bearing challenges in heavy transport.
  • Intelligent energy: applying the same systems thinking to controllable electrical loads, energy resilience and available generation.
  • PowerPulse Nexus: the current framework through which engineering ideas, knowledge and structured development are brought together.

The greatest engineering achievement is not creating a perfect solution. It is creating a better one than existed before, and leaving enough knowledge for someone else to improve it further.
