Commercial aviation and disciplined systems thinking
Commercial flying and charter-company experience established an enduring respect for procedure, reliability, risk management and the consequences of technical failure.
Innovation record
A chronological record of Kevin Pearman’s work—from aviation and heavy transport to N-Tyre and the intelligent energy technologies now being developed through PowerPulse Nexus.
Chronology
Commercial flying and charter-company experience established an enduring respect for procedure, reliability, risk management and the consequences of technical failure.
Direct responsibility for a fleet of heavy vehicles exposed the recurring financial and safety effects of tyre failure, heat, pressure, braking and bearing problems.
N-Tyre was conceived as a practical system to improve tyre and casing life and help operators identify conditions associated with tyre, brake and bearing failures.
The N-Tyre concept received three inventor and design awards, together with industry attention and supporting correspondence.
The project progressed beyond an idea into product development, manufacturing preparation and a dedicated factory environment.
The same problem-solving approach was applied to electricity demand, grid resilience, geyser control and solar-energy optimisation.
Functional prototypes now underpin a portfolio designed for utility, insurance, household and solar-integration applications, with commercial production as the next objective.

Technology evolution
A single switching concept developed through successive applications, commercial structures and market opportunities.
The original intelligent switching concept was developed to disconnect and reconnect controllable electrical loads in response to grid conditions.
The technology evolved into an insurance-focused application designed to reduce geyser-related risk while retaining its core load-management capability.
The invention developed into a broader commercial platform serving grid, household, insurance and solar-energy opportunities.
The current identity brings the technology portfolio together through FlexGrid, SunSinc and ClaimShield, with production and market deployment as the next stage.
A heavy-vehicle monitoring and tyre-management invention developed from first-hand transport experience, recognised through multiple innovation and design awards.
